MEFAS acquired a new Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) thanks to a discount from Medatronic and a grant from Kingston Upon Thames Borough Council. 

The new AED was purchased to ensure complete compatibility with revised resuscitation protocols that first aiders are being trained to do.

A training version of LifePak 500 is being used to teach members and the public in chain of survival best practice.
