Kingston Museum 'Festival' exhibition
The summer exhibition this year at Kingston Museum is entitled Festival! and will run from July 26th to October 18th. We want to use it to celebrate Kingston’s status as a festival town by looking at the variety of festivals held here, both past and present, religious and secular. We want to feature the voices of those people who are actively involved, talking about their events and their cultural, spiritual and personal significance. We are planning to produce a series of boards for the exhibition, featuring the words and photos of a variety of community and religious representatives. We may also consider having sound recordings of those representatives in the gallery and any ceremonial objects which can be lent to the exhibition.

Who we are
We comprise representatives of all those religious faith groups/communities in Kingston who wish to participate together with other appropriate local organisations. We serve as a channel of communication and understanding between the various faith groups, providing an opportunity for discussion of issues of mutual interest and/or concern.
