Noticeboard - 'The revolution wil not be televised'

Recently we received this great news!

"The Artists Project Earth Board of Advisors and Trustees are pleased to inform you that your project has been selected for a grant"

This means, a fantastic Climate and family Friendly launch event - with local musical talent, is one step nearer!

A.P.E. Has funded over 100 climate change related projects worldwide.

Sales of R.D.M.s first CD ‘Rhythms Del Mundo - Cuba’ are enabling Artists Project Earth to fund some inspiring and innovative projects which address the root causes of climate change in a variety of different ways. A big thank you and congratulations to everyone who bought it and to all those who took part in making it.

A pioneering technology could soon be helping generate renewable energy.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available from Leicestershire County Council to develop projects which produce green energy from agricultural waste.

Anaerobic digestion, where manure and food waste are converted into electricity and heat, can reduce methane levels and the amount of rubbish sent to landfill.

There are only a handful of anaerobic digestion plants across the country.

Farmers and others who have a site in mind are being encouraged to get in touch with the council by the end of October.
