The book club, which takes in all of Tamworth and surrounding area, meets monthly to discuss a book members have read in the preceding month. The only thing required for membership is an interest in reading and a willingness to discuss and share ideas. All kinds of books are included and recent choices have ranged from Shakespeare to modern"whodunit".

The Group meets on Thursday mornings at 1030 in the CDT Centre in Moseley. Its purpose is to read and discuss philosophy. No qualifications in the subject are needed or expected, but a lively interest in the great philosophers and their ideas is definitely a pre-requisite. Discussions are lively, good natured and often humorous.
